I found Orbiter about a week ago while bored and looking for games. When I first loaded up a scenario (the DG over Venus I think), I had not read anything about the sim and expected it to be some kind of simple WASD flier (stupid me!). Frustrated by what I originally perceived as a broken game, I almost gave up before I read some documentation and realized what I was getting into. I started learning from Go Play In Space and was enthralled. Then I found NASSP and I knew this was something I had to learn.
Anyway, now I am at the point where I can launch myself from Earth in the DG and achieve a shaky but stable orbit. I am excited to keep on learning and intend to tackle an Earth launch to Moon orbit in the DG later today. <
