hello. i'm using Universal cargo deck to attach payloads into the Shuttles bay (using Shuttle fleet).
i'm getting CTD when more than 1 Cargo deck is used in the same scenario. is it normal, a known "problem" or is it something anomalous? could you try please and let me know if you get the same CTD?

I've got several in my scenario and they work fine. Are you attaching more than one UCD to the shuttle though?
 
i have two shuttles, Atlantis and Discovery, sitting on the pads A & B at the Cape. i've attached one UCD at each shuttle. with 1 UCD in the scenariuo, works fine, withe the second, quicksave and restart generates CTD at restart...
 
Post the scenario that CTD's and I'll have a look

You don't need to attach it and list it as a core vehicle. Thats probably whats causing the problem.
 
but it is done automatically by the scn editor when i create the UCD when session is running. i'm not manupulating the .scn in any way...

i confirm that the line you highlighted makes the scn crash...
but it is automatically written when i quicksave, and also rewritten if previously eliminated via .scn file...
could you please check your .scn after a quicksave with UCD and see if it is written also in yours?

I suspect that the postitioning of the UCD carrier is very close to that attachment point. You could move the location of the UCD which would probably do it.

personally I don't use UCD on the shuttles.

so, how to position correctly, let's say Artemis and a PMA inside the same shuttle bay using .scn lines, without cargo deck, that i noticed gives also some autopilot strange behavious during head-up roll of the shuttle during orbital insertion...?
 
Shuttle fleet can't really handle the mass changes that UCD introduces.

Personally I'd put artemis in the cargo bay then attach the PMA to Artemis. On orbit I'd have a space walk to relocate it.
 
Think it's a long shot but my only guess is you might have an older version of payload manager. If you installed an addon which includes an older version of PM I think it will over-write the newer one. http://kulch.spb.ru/Eng/PM_dwn.html for latest version.
