The longest eclipse for a long time will happen tomorrow evening, visible from everywhere but America. Where I am, the Moon will be totally eclipsed at Moonrise, but as you go East from the UK, the prospects improve.

I hope the same... :)

Won't rise high enough to see where I am :(

As viewed from Tranquillity :

Edit : In reality, I suppose there should be a thin red circle around the planet (the atmosphere absorbing the blue spectrum ?) ?

I wont be able to see it :( silly hill and trees will obscure the moon until ~2210 BST

Got clear skies here, but this eclipse is right in the middle of exams, why does it choose such a good time to happen!?!?

Do you have exams around midnight?
I didnt mean in the MIDDLE of an exam, i have one tomorrow(15th) and one on the 16th, Both are the important ones which i have to study for, and i sleep early before and exam(eclipse is at 11pm to 2am). Its crazy, but i sleep at like 8pm the day before an exam.

I also have an exam the afternoon after, but the times are more favourable for me.

For those who might not see it (which could well be me, if the clouds roll in) there will be lots of live activity on http://www.spaceweather.com/ so it's worth keeping an eye on that site.

Be sure to check heavens-above aswell because most of us will get some nice ISS passes on the same night. We could catch them both together.

(offtopic) It's not crazy. It is the best thing you can do to get ready. Only when you become a teacher you can actually allow yourself some leeway before an exam... :)

We finally got clear skies (first time in 2½ month) and we're just too far north to see this one. :(

It's cloudy here in Australia. I won't be able to see it. :(

Aw, wrong continent. :P

Here's hoping we'll steal England's famous weather for a night, so some of you can see this.

Won't get better, complete cloud cover over most of Germany around 21:00 UTC.
