Total Lunar Eclipse - 15th June

Yes!!! A large pocket of no cloud will go over my house. I will take photos!

This is the first meaningful total lunar eclipse that could be seen here in over 7 years (!), and last time I missed it due to rainy weather. Luckily it looks like I might be able to see it tonight! (there's some clouds, but at least half of the sky is clear) Just hope that I won't overslept tonight (total eclipse starts in just more than two hours, at ~0320 local time)...

Not a single cloud here! Sorry for you guys in Germany, UK, etc. It's really frustrating, isn't it? That's how I missed the last eclipse.

We have currently just many medium altitude clouds here, good chances that the moon is at least a bit visible.

Well be happy you guys all have a chance to see it. :(
I can't remember if the last eclipse i saw was solar or lunar. Oh well.

I have a partial low cloud cover and almost complete medium alt cloud cover... looks bad.

Now I have complete cloud cover in the SW... that was my lunar eclipse for today.

These below photos arent mine because the moon is yet to rise high over the UK, but i thought i might share them:

It would be fun to have that simulated in Orbiter, you would get a weird brown/red lightning when on the Moon. :P

Not to mention all the weird colors you could have around the gas giants.
