Updates STS-134 Updates

...You can hear the camera of Paulo clicking away...
I was in fact wondering what those click click click were...it's been a long series of 3 clicks, is he maybe using a "bracketing" photo-technique?

As an SF man, he uses short bursts to save the ammo...

So they did it ! Good job, and good reentry guys !

They just said we could expect to see the first pics... you'll never guess when... Tuesday, possibly the afternoon.

Of course Tuesday.............. why would you even think it could be some other day.
By the way................which Tuesday ?...

Well, let's hope it's the Moscow afternoon. I'm expecting to get these pics on my desktop when I get home

Wow, that was stunning. I haven't even got any words for that amazing sight. I can't wait for the Hi-Res images/Hi-Def video!

Here's an *amazing* time-lapse video of the manoeuvre:

You know what? Before those photos come, I reckon we should make a packet o' cash with those screenshots, they're so good...

Just kidding...

It's quite incredible actually seeing the ISS from the perspective of something next to it - not on it or in it. Can't wait for the photos... (Real ones, not bootleg Orbiter ones...)

I think the Grissom, Chaffee and White families (amongst many others) would disagree with you there. We may have lost a few pretty pictures, let's not overdramaticise it.

On the subject of the photos, as I understand it, they took a camera and lens (lenses?) into the Soyuz to take the photos, then left the camera in the service module to burn up. Anyone know what camera/lenses burnt up in the atmosphere and if this is the first time they've left cameras to burn up on reentry?
