SSU Launch Complex 39 development

Very nice work, i can't wait
Thanks. My favourite part will be when Urwumpe brings life into the entire complex(FSS, RSS and MLP) once it is all done.

I'll second that !!

Hey guys, i got a picture of the LC-39 water tank, it's spilling out water, this might help.

Already have those kind of photos and videos. I have been collecting reference materials for over 6 years now.

6 years damn, are you gonna animate the spilling of it? it might take the same texture as the External tank fuel cap ice venting.
It's not a fuel cap! It's the Gaseous Oxygen Vent Arm or GOX Vent Arm. It is used to duct away the cold GOX from the tank to prevent ice build-ups.

The pipes is purged with heated gaseous nitrogen(GN2).

My mistake, also with the RSS that payload room, i forget what it's called, but has it been tested that if it fits snuggly and realistly around the shuttle, ive noticed this in the shuttle fleet the RSS and the shuttle merge and it doesnt look real.

Yes. Everything is fit-checked.

Ok just wondering, lol if you were having a guided tour at LC-39A or B it will funny watching the guide seeing that you already know the way around the place.

In-sim screenshot of the Pad A FSS/RSS, MLP-2 and the concrete hardstand. Atlantis is covered by the RSS for final pre-launch preps for STS-117/13A. If you look closely, you can see the side SRB flame deflectors in place beneath the MLP.

Unfortunately I don't have one from that angle with the same lighting conditions.

Wow, its looking really good, can't wait for the details to come in.

Well, found one that could be replicated in Orbiter, although it's 39B, not 39A.

The FSS/RSS is currently on hold due to lack of reference materials on a certain section of the RSS.

Some more work done on the MLP. Mostly on the Right-Hand T0 umbilicals between the MLP and orbiter.

But I have also added the FireX lines on both Tail Service Masts.
