My God, Touhou is even invading Orbiter. It really is everywhere.

I might make a skin for this once the design is finalised (and preferably coloured) and if I have the time/motivation. It would also be helpful if anyone could direct me to a tutorial or other guide to how to repaint the Ravenstar. I know how to make textures (experience with IL-2), but it would be a little easier for me if I already knew what went where on the ship, and specifically which layer to draw on.

Assuming you have the Ravenstar repaint template (on Doug's site) and Photoshop, you will have to copy the default skin as a layer in between the polygons layer and the shiny layer, and go from there; colourize, clone out other logos if needed (copy the blank port side), etc.
When a final design is reached, I'll make it transparent and save it as to preserve the alpha, but don't expect that too soon.

You're addicted to Orbiter when you start to draw anime-style versions of popular addons. In human form, that is.

Truth. Contrariwise, you're addicted to Touhou when you start comparing spacecraft to the Aki sisters.

A few more things for profile:

• Favourite movie is Stargate. Second favourite movie is Cool Hand Luke. "What we have here is..."
• Hates being called cute as if she is a pet cat or something. Wants to be seen as a badass; ironically, this makes her even more irresistibly cute.
• She can't actually stand in her high heels when extended at full vertical length (as if APU turned off halfway through). Doing so will cause gear doors to collapse, foiling her attempt to be badass/look taller.

Does she have a favourite joystick/throttle? What does she think of other specific spacecraft? Remember, she is APAS-type...

I plan to do others! I might poll people later, but it's probably going to be XR2 Mk II, XR0, DGIV, Arrow, G42 Starliner (that's right), DG-XR1 (or just DG/DG-S), Dragonfly, or "Heavy Metal". One of those.

Search for SR-71 on Danbooru will also give you some interesting results- however, not sure if I can link there, although the links were safe...
They're not on Safebooru...
Zeco, the guy who made that SR-71, also did a bunch of others. He made an artbook called "Girl Arms."

Can anyone confirm if ISS, STS, HTV, SS1, SS2, Dragon. and other real ones exist? I also might do one of those if not.

At any rate, nothing there but them chickens for the ISS, STS and Dragon, at least on that site (anything related to space will just get you a bunch of Gundam stuff anyway). It's like 2:00 AM here so I think that's all I'll look for tonight.

Danbooru isn't really a good source- it's just some of the images that have leaked down from their original sources, tagged and organized. Unfortunately I completely forgot my Pixiv account, and google.co.jp, goo.ne.jp, and naver.jp have all failed me. Is there really no STS OV or HTV メカ少女？

This one turned out just as messy as the last one...
Also I'm not sure about the SCRAM engines anymore. Actually they're facing the wrong way in this picture, but I think I might try one on each arm and see how that goes. I don't want to cut off her feet like many artists do, and I still want her to look more-or-less flyable. Next picture will be a better pose where you can see the vertical tails.

Then the Mk.I would be the in-between sister overshadowed by her older sister's higher carrying capacity and Mk.II's flashy bells and whistles, making her a bit of a tsundere.

Although to be honest, I don't know the XR5 at all; I don't even have her in my current Orbiter install. The same for XR1, although it's fundamentally similar to the DG-S. How should this relation be treated?
Any help is welcome for any spacecraft's profiles here!

I can't personify the STS no matter how I try. Not in a cute way at least. After watching footage of a Shuttle launch, I can't see it as anything less than 12 500 kN.

Maybe she could be someone who's usually a bit slower than the rest, and is a bit helpless, so she needs others to help her achieve her goals? Trying to think of ideas, because I really want to see a personified Shuttle.

I actually started a default DG a while before I tried the XR2 but it wasn't going. I'll try Cirno for a base, thanks!

Also, I've searched vigorously for an STS OV Mecha Girl but couldn't find one. You may be in luck, after XR2 is done...

Oh...not that...ET girl and SRB girls would be sad...
Maybe the crawler to help her move, but that's a ways away. She would look cute sitting on the stack though. Still can't believe no one's done spacecraft before, they all seem to be military jets...

SRB twins sounds like a great addition. I'm not sure how to make them not look silly, though. I guess just a skirt shaped like the rocket nozzle skirt, a striped shirt and a conical hat would suffice?
The ET is even harder to anthropomorphise. It's just a big orange pointy tube.
