On the ACD aka Stinger. It looks like the probe remains inserted.
I suppose press a key and the yellow straps appear. Press a key and the probe end is not seen.

Found this on Facebook earlier today, the Boeing X-37 was originally planned to launch inside a Space Shuttle payload bay in the pre-Columbia era (the quote below is not referring to the revived X-37B program long after the shuttles themselves are retired, yet share the same overall design):

Two decades ago, The X-37 was designed to launch from the space shuttle's cargo bay as a secondary payload. Once deployed, the X-37 would remain in orbit for up to 21 days, performing a variety of experiments before re-entering the Earth's atmosphere and landing. The (original) X-37 program was discontinued in 2003.

Shuttle addon I think are basically 2. Looks good for launches; or functional. By functional can you simulate the real mission. The looks good for launches is really just meshes. The functional is the mesh plus coding.

Hi. I've tried this missions' package posted here some 1 year ago.
STS-64 scenarios need SPARTAN201NEW vessel, but this is not included in the package. Can someone provide this config file? Thanks.

And BTW, would be really great to have a compendium of the STS missions in one place. I am aware that almost all shuttle flights/payloads have been worked out (tremendous work!), it's pity to not enjoy the full history experience of the shuttle.

It works in open orbiter you just need a recompiled ms2015 for launches

Thanks Gattis. The config&module solved the CTD. Now the meshes look to be missing or have different naming and some meshes are missing completely (Spartan201). The only things appear to be right are the SPIFEX and the MPESS.

I changed the names of the provided meshes and I got this:


Thanks anyway. If any thought of re-compiling the shuttle missions for 2016 and testing is needed, I can gladly help. I am "flying" the shuttles since Gazza's 2006.

Thanks, that did it. Spartan RMS grapple for deployment, then re-attachment to MPESS, all good. EVA attachments working. The only thing apparently not there is the grapple point for RMS on SPIFEX. But I think that can be done with Att.Mgr.
