Project Space Transportation System 2016

All orbital values in the press kit are valid. You can make three separate scenarios out of it if you want to, or just simply pick one.
Yes. But is there a way to go to a scn open it up and set the orbit? By starting out at launch and watching the MET I can pause the scn when something happens. For sts 46 it is vague.

Shouldn't the orbit be 425.9, 425.96? for 230 nm

About orbits and Multistage:

I've had similar problems with Multistage. Hard to track down the source of the problem (not shuttle specific).
Adding 10% more fuel ( or 10% less mass) usually solves any issues...
But a suborbital trajectory seem correct.

The shuttle had diferent launch profiles, including some where the OMS fired during ascent ( OMS assist ), along with the main engines. See https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/56954-sts-131-shuttle-ascent-oms-burn/

Yet OMS was always used for final orbital insertion, after checks I think.
A sub-orbital trajectory after main tank jettison make sense. In case of a problem the shuttle would simply reenter "near" the launch site.

trying to find line drawing with dimensions of the Spartan
https://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/spartan/spacecraft.html

Looking at the image and the model. I think the arms may be too long?

the cylinder is 0.43 m in diameter and 3 m long. per

The shuttle press kit can be downloaded in Internet Explorer. I found the size and now we have this.

STS 56 uses the Spartan201 and the ATLAS2. Is the Atlas2 built already?

Thanks. Minor differences. ATLAS2 logo is rectangle while ATlas2 is triangle,.......

I really like the GAS cylinder in the STS66. Trying to follow the code for the Atlas. Really nice.

Basically the same. New logos.
This is the setup for sts 56. There seems to be a gap of one bay between the igloo and SSBUV

SSBUV are the same.

I am rethinking things. Although it is simpler to have one mesh and dll to do all the animations. If you have the SSBUV as a vessel then you can focus on it and not the whole Cargobay.

Let me ask about reusing the ATLAS and SSBUV.

Thank you very much for your work Gattispilot, this addon is truly amazing and make some of us start using orbiter 2016 sometimes, right now my flights are mainly on orbiter 2010 because of shuttle fleet, moonbase alpha and dan steph´s addons. But now I have something to play with thanks to this addon.

Thanks for all your effort, present and past.

mainly on orbiter 2010 because of ... moonbase alpha
Short OT comment - Many of Moonbase Alpha vessels work in 2016 with some tweaking to scenarios. The Eagle is fun to fly with real terrain. But not too much to do without astronauts or cargo to move around.

I found this:

Not sure what the SUVE looks like?

While trying to find image I found this. On the right side is a GAS. not mention in the set up

Watched the video and found a better image of the GAS on the right:

Also saw this. smiley face that appears when the Spartan is latched

redid the Spartan and MPESS. now the smiley face show if attached or not

I think it might need to be larger?

maybe a bug? BUt I noticed after picking up the Spartan with rms and releasing the Spartan . If I grap the Spartan with the MPEss it is off. Reboot and it is good.
