Hey guys, i was asked to put my facts into one thread and i think thats a good idea DaveS:cheers:.
The facts will contain ALL space agency facts, Birthdays of astronauts or astrolgys, and deaths of them too. I get all my pointless facts at Wikipedia, my mind and Google.
On April 2 1984, the first Indian was luanched into space on aboard a Russian built Soyuz spacecraft, the mission was Soyuz T-11. The Indians name was Rakesh Sharma, a test pilot for the Indian Air force.
Wait for more pointless facts soon.

Soyuz T-11 actually launched in on April 3. It docked to Salyut 7 on April 4, and the crew returned on April 11 with the Soyuz T-10 capsule, while the Soyuz T-11 capsule remained docked to Salyut 7.

Just the normal Wikipedia i was looking through the ''what happened on this day'' stuff.

This information is wrong then. It is April 3 in both printed sources I have at home ("Soyuz:A Universal Spacecraft", "Mir Hardware Heritage").

looking for pointless infos about space? I got many! but i will give it one by one cheers.

"do you know that Space Shuttles have landing gears? they was designed to land like a conventional plane!"

WELL THAT'S WHAT YOU POINTLESS! hahha

Oh, I'd say their pointless... :)

I like your idea. Another great link is http://www.astronautix.com/
Many facts on this website.

My friendly suggestion to you and your random facts is to clean up the spelling a little bit. Firefox has a spell checker built in so I would utilize for everyone to thoroughly enjoy what you have written. :)

Well some words will be different to you people overseas but in Australia we spell things different the US for example, people from obviusly Australia or England (if we have any English people on this forum) will understand it.

Hey ryan, I changed some settings trying to let you guys edit your thread title indefinatly. Can you see if you're able to edit this thread title? You don't have to change it, just see if the forum will allow you to do this.

You can either double click just to the side of the thread title from the forumdisplay page so that you're not actually clicking on the link itself. See screen shot below:
edit_thread1.jpg

or you can go to "Thread Tools" on top of this thread and see if you see an option to edit the thread.

Thanks!

Oh good thanks Tex, i was looking for something like that when i posted Chipstone306 1000 posts but when i relised i spelt his name wrong on the title i couldnt change it.
Thanks.
