I never thought I'd see another mainstream movie that was a bigger piece of technical garbage than Armageddon. I was wrong. I'm currently watching 'The Core.' My eyes and head hurt so bad from this movie, but I can't look away...

Just recalibrate your filters to "comic book", and it becomes quite enjoyable.

Actually my handwriting was forged at university - the need to write fast.

And today you just have to be able to type fast and it is readable all the time.

Although this doesn't work in mathematics or physics.

Actually thats wrong - thanks to my fabulous Surface RT, I am able to write lecture notes MUCH faster than my handwriting co-students - even when I write mathematical formulas... since you just need to paint the formulas with your finger and the recognition is not that stupid.

Well I am now declaring an emergency situation! Starting from the launch of MAVEN tomorrow there will be at least 6 (maybe up to 8, depending what the Chinese does) launches through out to next Monday, each with its own features! (MAVEN, next Falcon 9, next Progress flight, 2 launches that will shatter the most-satellites-on-a-rocket record, plus a launch of an ESA mission) And after getting through the forest I need to prepare for Chang'e 3. This is on top of 2 papers and 1 presentation I need to do for college courses (luckily I don't have many final exams for this semester).

What am I supposed to do? :uhh:

College > orbiter-forum

Yeah, I think we're all OK with stripped down versions, too. Or late versions on the Minotaur/Dnepr.

Or one of us could help you if you like.

Hope NK doesn't interpret them as an en masse nuclear strike on them and retaliate against the South China Sea us.

Suffer from lack of sleep like other college students?

Or booze it up like a bunch of other college students?

When playing a word association game with my nephews, my daughter's first words after "ping-pong table" were "red solo cups". I got concerned for a few minutes.

Death from below: One of Germanys big crude oil underground storages near Wilhelmshaven was leaking and is polluting nearby rivers and lakes over a distance of 6 km.

The underground storage at Etzel is one of the biggest in Europe, storing 10 million cubic meters of oil in 33 salt caverns, 1000 meters below ground. Every cavern is 300 to 500 m high and 60 meter wide (It was planned in the cold war and extended during the oil crisis) . For comparison, what 10 million cubic meters means: The Deepwater Horizon oilspill was just 800,000 cubic meters.

The leak was discovered by the company maintaining the storage, 300 specialists had been sent out to contain the pollution.

I'll just add that they want to store radioactive waste in the same kind of way.:tiphat:

Don't mention the war, please. :facepalm:

I live just 30 km away from a "perfectly safe" nuclear underground storage in a former salt mine, that takes suddenly more water than the Titanic. Which was declared to NEVER share the fate of its sister mine about 2 kilometers west: This one drowned and collapsed in 1912. Despite a PhD from the university here calculating already in 1980 from geological data, what we measure today...

Really, don't mention the war.

a = 100000
b = a
c = 0

while True:
a + b = c

It'll be a slow, painful death.
