And the boilerplate crashes "safely" into the Atlantic (tough it would be safer with a parachute !), after climbing to 3500 meters.

Oh I didnt see the solar panels:facepalm:.I still need help with texturing.

This is the space station I've been working on for a while. With crew/resupply flights I've flown around 25 missions, and I don't think I'm finished building yet. I started out just trying to use commercial vehicles, but then it turned into a NASA/ESA/CCCP mashup. Core modules boosted with upgraded Saturn Vs, Energia for some ESA stuff, Shuttle for the smaller modules, Proton for the Russian segment. Crew and cargo flights include Antares, CTV, ETS, Shuttle, ATV, and soon Soyuz and Progress. I used Greg Burch's spaceplanes a few times, but stopped because they were too easy.

Before you ask, yes the Shuttle can dock to that Quasar module without hitting anything.

Every two or three missions the layout of the station gets changed up due to docking requirements or clearance issues. Didn't start with a clear plan and don't intend to have one!

Next mission - STS-106! Yes, I'm flying every ISS shuttle mission I can, I'd have posted images from STS-88, but I had to format my hard drive since then, so no screenies from that one.

Another bog-standard ISS resupply mission with nothing tricky about it.

You started building the station on the 4-th of July?

Well, Independence is the name of a crashed shuttle in the Armageddon film. At first I thought the name was translating the possibility of going to space autonomously (not by NASA).

I didn't want to name it Freedom since there's already [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Station_Freedom"]one of the same name[/ame]. So I named it Independence.
