It's tough to taxi the XR5 on those skinny taxiways. :P

New space station scenario pack coming soon...!

Getting there

My baby Energia (the -M) sitting at the SRC Polygon launch facility.

First flight of the full stack. Still some work to do, but I just HAD to get a view of what this thing looked like in flight.

...and they look very good

And a big, patriotic, 47.5 tons mass of lead makes it to LEO ! Performance of the launch vehicle is far better than expected

Not purely Orbiter...

Orbiter OGLA (ISS with shadows) and SpaceEngine (all the rest!) combined.

Let me guess,photoshopped?

Sure! I am no programming wizzard who can zap two different applications together.
But I must admit, I am in awe of the breathtaking graphics of SpaceEngine. Love at first sight, so to say. May the probe turn a blind eye on me for that.

Oh sorry.A pic like that looks too real to be from Orbiter.

Terrible launch failure.

Thank you TouchdownPoints, I'll have to make launch clamps and probably a launchpad, which means another .dll and another mesh

I hope that was unmanned.

I hope that was unmanned.

Yes, but still, a 47.5 tons mass of lead fell somewhere on Florida, hopefully in a marsh... :shifty:

I'll try to do a LES for capsules, that shouldn't be that hard. :hmm:

My vision for the future of the ISS !

Shuttle arriving at my new station.YES, I DID GET DAVID413's EXPANSION PACK TO WORK WITH ORBITER 2010 !

Next shuttle mission now - STS-101. Another ISS resupply mission, one that actually went according to plan this time, and didn't involve me massively screwing up re-entry!

Fairly uneventful mission, looking forward to the next one!

Launch!

Sigma LV with a Dragon-sized capsule boilerplate, for LES testing purpose.

Notice that this launch config wouldn't be suitable for manned spaceflight ; a third stage (Centaur...) / habitation module / cargo module / anything else would be required to add mass and limit the acceleration.

Still, it gives an idea of the proportions :

I added a "logical" launchpad, that acts like launch clamps and allow clean launches, bypassing TouchdownPoints.
