Mouse control for atmospheric flight?

Is there any way to use mouse control for atmospheric flights with aerodynamic surfaces? I don't have a joystick and while using the numpad for RCS does feel natural in space, using it for the control of aerodynamic surfaces is downright clumsy.

No addons for it yet. I've actually never thought about the idea. I have a joystick myself but have gotten too used to flying smoothly with the numpad to ever use it.
