Lunar Experiment Ideas

Currently I am developing a new lunar lander.

I am going to place 'interactive' science experiments on the lander.

I am looking for ideas for possible experiments, they include short term one and serveral larger long term ones.

Any ideas are welcome, and there are prizes on offer.

-Micrometeor impact counter
-soil sampler
-magnetic field strength meter
-radio telescope
-optical telescope
-radiation meter (probably should/could be different meters looking for specific wavelengths, ie., microwave, gamma, etc)

... all I can think of right off the top of my head.

Short term:
-Soil temperature sensors
-Soil penetration sensors
And either:
-A mini rover (attatched via a tether), with close up geological instruments.
Or a:
-A mini solar ISRU furnace, for testing ISRU concepts.

Long term:
-Solar output measurer
-Retroreflector for Earth based lasers

Is possible include here a solar panel/radioisotope thermal generator degradation process for adding realism?
