CameraMFD alters your camera position. You may be in the generic cockpit (2 MFDs & hud) or VC (virtual cockpit) to use this utility. This mod is disabled in 2D panel mode.

Why was this named "CameraMFD" when there already is a "CameraMFD" which does something drastically different?

Yay for confusion...

Hielor is right. Lack of creativity is not an excuse to name an add on something that is already taken. Please change the name.

Alright guys back off of him. I mistakingly named one of my ships Deep Space 1, it's a simple mistake. And as for features I would like to see:
- Flyby mode
- Cinematic mode (like a shaking screen when engines are firing)
- Sol mode (this one I made up: When you activate it it starts you out with a full view of our solar system, then zooms in onto your ship. Not to useful but it gives you an idea of how insignificant you are :) )

At least, when the other add-on is already pretty popular and wide-spread.

I guess not popular enough for me to remember that we already had one...

I will not do the Flyby mode because that has already been done, but the other options look do-able.

I like the Sol mode too

Name changed as requested

How about looking into something like global frame, except the camera view is always level with the horizon? I would LOVE to see that!

Nice add on! I was thinking that maybe you could name it Rocketcam MFD after the company that sticks rockets on the side of launch vehicles?

I'm off to play with this and film the SRB sep :-)

Won't work for me on the new Orbiter 2010 release. Says error 14001 iirc.

This addon is nearly two years old, so this was to be expected.

I can confirm: it works. I've not try all the features, but the night vision, the span also....

I wanted to update the status of this add-on.

Error code 14001 with Orbiter 2010 in Windows XP 64 or Windows 7 64 with C++ 2005 redistributable SP1, C++ 2008 redistributable and C++ 2010 Redistributable all installed.

Dependency Walker on Windows XP 64 shows missing msvcp80.dll and msvcr80.dll but copying the files from the winsxs folder or downloading them causes Dependency Walker to show ok except for msjava.dll. Unfortunately, Orbiter still shows error code 14001.

Dependency Walker on Windows 7 does not show any problems except for the usual ieshims.dll. The error code 14001 still occurs.

I think that for the vast majority of Orbiter 2010 users, this addon is not working.

If any one could come forward and post an example of a system that does actually have this mythical addon working that would be great.
