Hi All,
Some of you may remember me as the creator of Mission Control mod for Orbiter. That was a while ago. I still am an avid fan of Orbiter and play regularly.

Currently I've been inspired by a great many things in my life, particularly adventure, and so I have taken it upon myself to entertain the masses (mainly myself) by programming a brand new game I call Evolvia.

Luckily I have already done the hard work for you so you can see what it's all about by going to http://evolvia.sourceforge.net and reading about it and watching the trailer.

If you are still reading this and couldn't be bothered clicking the link and watching the pretty colors, I will tell you about it some more here.

Evolvia is a free form side scroller that places you on the surface of an alien planet. You have tools and equipment that will allow you to not only explore the surface but also to dig deep, really deep, and discover artefacts, aliens, treasures and elements never seen before in nature.

To keep the game challenging you have to survive. You will die of thirst or hunger or if your oxygen runs out. These need to be replaced by mining resources on the planet and by using your Black Box machine to craft and create all sorts of fantastic items.

I am the sole designer and programmer of the game and whilst it is playable, it is not finished in the sense that you would consider a finished game.

If you like this kind of thing where you get to explore in your own time, dig up and find items you can combine and use to survive, then this might be just the distraction you have been looking for.

We have a forum going over here: http://z13.invisionfree.com/Evolvia/index.php
And we'd love to hear from you.

We have facebook too, just look for Evolvia and the big green planet icon!

Cheers,
David (aka Davewave)

Favourite being? You never know what this game could become because I am always adding things to it everyday. If I saw or heard a good idea I might incorporate it into the game.
