It can be either freeware or payware. For me, it's this-

Ever since I was young, I have always been fascinated with the B-17. I loved all of the gunner locations on the plane and the ball turret. There was also some stupid movie I watched when I was a kid where the landing gear was shot and for some reason the guy down in the ball turret couldn't escape. You can figure out what would have happened when it tried to land. Don't remember how it was resolved, but the guy made it out alive.

Anyway, to get back on track, I just bought this add-on last week (for $30 or so) and it is HARD. I kept killing the engines after starting them and you have to keep an eye on the cylinder temperatures. That was another problem- the engines kept overheating and they would catch on fire! It is MUCH more challenging than any of the planes that come with FSX (most of which a fifth grader could handle). There are so many systems that you have to control and keep an eye on. Also, failures are simulated well and you have to perform regular maintenance on the plane to keep it in working order. Oh yeah. Before anyone asks, yes you can drop bombs and watch them explode when they hit the ground! This is the first add-on I've paid for and it is well worth it IMO.

What are some others that you like? I guess the only other add-on that comes close is this Concorde (which is similar to the one that comes with FS2002)-

For me it's this very fast airplane. (it's the one beginning a barrel role)

I edited this aircraft so that it could go mach 4 and reach 300,000 ft with ease. It's the FSX/FS2004 S-4A Prototype. If you wan't my slightly edited version tell me.

It'd be nice if it came with some documentation, I want to learn how to fly this baby from Cold and Dark to full system operations.

Where did u get that F-16 because all the ones i find are porely made and i can't see out the VC.

You need: Falcon 4.0: Allied Force
[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allied_Force"]Allied Force - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

It is a -complete- F-16 simulator, the word "simulator" doesn't even do it justice. It should be called a replicator. The program is a 1:1 virtual replica of an F-16. Complete with a 760 page PDF manual.

I wonder if the B-17 works with FS Passengers. Would the passengers be crammed on top of each other in the bomb bay? And if they start fighting with each other, can I open the doors and watch them fall to the ground?

Youl need the origional S4 download. The autopilot won't work well above 60,000ft.(go manual above that alt) No flaps and youl land at approxamitly 230kts. Use the airbrack in the air to slow down or you will pass mach 1 even at throttle 0. Here you go. It will overwrite the aircraft file. Need any help just ask. (drop it into the S4's folder in the simobjects/Aircraft)

Mine is Airport Design Editor, an amazing tool to edit and create airports.

EDIT, OFFTOPIC: Very, very strange. I didn't play FSX for months because I activated it on another computer, forcing a telephone activation (wich I was to lazy for). But now... it just works! Time to try the Acceleration activation...

VRS FA/18. From Vertical Reality Simulations. Its currently the only aircraft I fly in FSX. Its a masterpiece you can even set up SAM sites that will try to kill you and you can take them out with HARMs. I also practice carrier trapping (Working ILS/TACAN that moves with the ship!)
Its the little things that I like about this sim like be able to change loadouts, multimode radar that locks AI (yes you can shoot AI and they will cease to show on the radar after they are dead, unfortunatly you can stil see them but thats a limitation of MSFS. Oh and though the HUD nightvision so you can see where you are going in the dark.

Soon there will be a TAC pack that will allow bombs to actualy kill targets but thats a little way off yet.
