OHM Xexina System

Ok, what about bases and space stations?

Tidaly locked?
With high eccentry?
Cause it must travel from outer border to near-sun orbit. But nothing is impossible:)

The bases are verey very basic i had no skill with surface bases at the time i built this. Now i can texture bases and build bases at will but, can't make a base like yours because the only mesh experience i have is making a glowing sphere.

Here is a very very eccentric high mass planet. [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD_80606_b"]HD-80606-b[/ame]

How is it possible?
So large planet....

To make meshes use google sketchup 7 pro

Thanks for the stars

Any more ideas?

Hmm you could try to make 3D terrain for OGLA. I can make grayscale maps. Just one problem with that. I can't convert them to Hei files.

I have search for hei editor/convertor but nothing! Oo
But i like 2006 orbiter, not 09.
By the way, what is new in 2010 ?

By the way. star using the mesh, right? So, if this no mesh in folder, than it must be a part of dll file.
So can we find that mesh and put it out from dll?

The new things in orbiter 2010 are mainly lvl 14 texture (couldn't dream of generating them) and light pressure. So now you can build a solar sail and it will move instead of being stationary like in orbiter 2006.

Solar sails and level 14...
Not very much.

Cruising

Hi.
Thanks for a very interesting system.
I tried to do interplanetary travel from Deetha to Dictoren.
What a mess!! I had to constantly do course corrections.
And it is BIG course corrections. Sometimes in the magnitude of 5000 DV.
But I like this system. It is a challenge for sure.

Constant course corrections? Heh brobely due to interactions between the four stars, especially the two massive A class stars.

Is it possible for planets and moons to exist in such an state?
I mean, the orbits will constantly change all the time!!

Yes and no. The orbit's of the Gliese 876 planets change dramaticly over aperiod of time. (over 10 years) The Xexina system though being one of the first systems i created isn't scientificly accurate yet. The orbit's of the two A class stars are to close. I'm still reconfiguring the orbit's so they will be updated sometime after the release of the The Upsilon Andromedae system.
