Tuesday ...

Considering how Orbiter is such a simple program to install, and doesn't write to the registry or scatter files all over your system; Just keep multiple installs going. I have done that with 2006-p1, and intend to keep it installed for a while while I migrate over to 2010. I'm sure some add-ons won't work. And other will be updated and improved over time. There's just so much you can do with this simulator that keeping multiple installs is really a trivial matter.

I've got installs from 900mb all the way to 6gb. With terabyte hard disks, I don't see a problem!

I happen to have a 200G hard disk.
How much Orbiter? 80G! EIGHTY!!
I don't see a problem either!

Does anybody know what add-ons are compatable with orbiter 2010? Or will we have to write all new add-ons?

Signing the thanks with my left and right hand. It's not only about the quality of end-user software, but also about the people involved :)

Downloading now - I've waited many Tuesdays for this!

Thanks for all your hard work, Dr. Schweiger and the BETA team!

I really appreciate all the effort you have been putting in this.

I also appreciate your energy and persistence, because it is not easy to bring such a big project to a happy ending like this.:tiphat:
Thank you very much!!

Ending? It's not over...

I just extracted & installed it (give me a good ol' .ZIP file any day ;)), and everything appears to work perfectly!

Great job!

Dang, now I gotta install all my favourite add-ons from scratch! Oh well, best get to it... :)

Hehe, with the exception of Orbiter sound and the super highres earth, moon, and mars - I don't have any other addons installed. I'm enjoying flying the default delta glider and shuttle again. :)

Awesome, Martin! Looking great!

It occurs to me that while add-on makers and other contributors get thanked pretty regularly, you only get a thank-you with each release. And it's been a while.

Here, I'll try to make up for lost time:

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

That should come to one thank you per quarter, plus a few extra to account for compound interest....

;)

Seriously, thank you and good work.

Having not even had the opportunity to download the latest version, here is my thanks to you...
