Considering how Orbiter is such a simple program to install, and doesn't write to the registry or scatter files all over your system; Just keep multiple installs going. I have done that with 2006-p1, and intend to keep it installed for a while while I migrate over to 2010. I'm sure some add-ons won't work. And other will be updated and improved over time. There's just so much you can do with this simulator that keeping multiple installs is really a trivial matter.

I've got installs from 900mb all the way to 6gb. With terabyte hard disks, I don't see a problem!

Most 'should' work, with some minor bugs. Some addon authors have already released updates for 2010 compatibility.

Hehe, with the exception of Orbiter sound and the super highres earth, moon, and mars - I don't have any other addons installed. I'm enjoying flying the default delta glider and shuttle again.
