I just want to ask you if I'm doing this correct or not;

1 - Using Transfer MFD, a new HTO. Increasing DV until a new orbit intersects the moons orbit.

2 - Overlaying grey line to the dashed yellow line. (Giving it some space between grey line and dashed yellow line.

3 - Commencing prograde burn at T-10secs, once I come over the SOLID GREEN line, I disable prograde for TLI.

I keep missing the moon, 3 days pass and I see the moon passing away and I continue into deep space... Why might this be? :(

Any input is very much appreciated.

What is your RInc and how much dV are you applying?
If you shoot into space and are not comming back towards earth, you are using too much dV.
Also, how close do you get to the moon? If you are not putting the lines on top of each other, you are bound to miss the moon.

Hi TSPenguin!

Actually, I'm relying on the chat we had on skype early this year.

One thing though, I forgot to align planes with the Moon...

Second thing, last time on skype you said "you shouldn't lay the two lines exactly on top of each other but you should leave very little space between them. otherwise you would go directly to the moon and hit it instead of going towards the sides to obtain and orbit". Or am I mistaken??? :(

Yes I managed to go through it and get very close to the moon, but this time, I couldn't manage to get into an orbit around it... :(

I set reference to the moon and burned retrograde, was that incorrect?
