It's on sourceforge.

Not quite. SSU v1.25 is since long gone. Instead there's occasional module releases which require that you have performed a SVN Checkout of the SSU repository.

Which unfortunatly I've been unable to do, for lack of a password which eludes me, and no way to get it. That I can find anyway.

just checked out and installed orbiter over them
now im to find that page ago installing SSU v1.25
something of revert over top of that with the turtle friend delivery not sure yet
im off

Thanks for the help yall

You don't need SSU v1.25. One of the module packs is enough if you have performed a SVN Checkout that matches the revision of the module pack you have installed. For example, if you have installed the revision 1357 modules you need to revert to revision 1357 of the checkout. You can do this by rightclicking on the SSU Orbiter folder and going TortoiseSVN>Update to revision... and enter 1357 in the blank field below the Show log button.

You could do an anonymous checkout. The downside is that you can't do any check-ins which means you need to send any changes/new stuff to one of us SSU developers so it can be added to the SSU repository.

Instructions on how to do an anonymous checkout can be found here: http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=24900

doing step now Thank you

edit gave a no revision 1357 error
Could you post a screenshot or a quote of the error message in this thread: http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=24900

Just keep in mind that this is a mirror only. It is NOT the official repository, and therefore should not be used as base for reporting bugs and the like.

If you open the ZIP, there is only one folder. The content of this folder you can drop into any Orbiter installation. Of course you'd need the mentioned precompiled modules in that Orbiter installation as well.

So it is basically like every other add-on archive, besides that one up-level folder you have to skip.

what does this mean?
It means you need to extract only contents of "face-ssu-a0ef6ad17507" subdirectory of the "face-ssu-a0ef6ad17507.zip" archive (with all its subdirectories) into Orbiter's folder, and not the full directory structure of the archive.

I.e. if you enter the archive, you see "face-ssu-a0ef6ad17507" directory. You need to enter into it and then extract contents of it into Orbiter.

What's the error you're getting? Can you post the Orbiter.log file?

I just tried vanilla Orbiter 2010 P1 with the mentioned snapshot together with the 1357 dev-modules pack. At least the scenario Space Shuttle Ultra\Testing scenarios\Atlantis in orbit works without any editing of files. Launch scenarios, however, all fail with some missing Vandenberg files mentioned in the log.

So at least you can take a look at it with a simple package drop-in. I guess you'll need some additional packages in order to make all scenarios work as they should.

You need Vinka's spacecraft3 addon.

If you are running Dx9 client, make sure you have a copy of your spacecraft folder in Modules/server/config folder.

Try copying Config\Spacecraft\Spacecraft3.cfg to Config\Vessels\Spacecraft3.cfg. This should solve the CTD.

Could you please stop posting thumbnails and post the full-size image instead? Based on what I can tell from the image, it looks like the orbiter mesh you're using is incompatible with the modules.

how would i do that
Just attach the full size image to the post.

And for the mesh problem: Are you sure installed this package: http://bitbucket.org/face/ssu/get/a0ef6ad1.zip?

I just did and noticed no issues. To me it looks like you're trying to use the latest meshes/textues with older modules (rev 1357) which is a solid NO-GO.
