That's the same code I have. I've attached a compiled version of the latest revision (rev. 1576); see if this works on your computer.

No change.
I tried it again on a totally fresh and clean installation with modules built from unaltered sources and nothing changed. Not sure what that means.

Can someone else take a look at the ET umbilical door animations and see what's going on?

Also, DaveS, can you post the SpaceShuttleUltra.dll you get after compiling the latest revision?

Well, here you go: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24122088/SpaceShuttleUltra_module.zip

That one is compiled from the sources in the 2.1-newmesh branch with no changes whatsoever to them.
Using this dll, the ET umbilical doors open without any issues.

Can you post exactly what scenario you're using and what steps are required for the animation issues to appear? I've been testing the animations using Testing scenarios/Atlantis in orbit.scn and by opening and closing the ET umbilical doors (first the doors need to be unlatched, then the doors can be opened). Also, can you check if any other animations are messed up, or if only the ET umbilical doors are affected.

That's the scenario I'm using and the door starts out in the buggy state. And the only other messed up animations are the star tracker doors and the elevons.

Can you try the latest revision? I fixed a bug in the ET umbilical door animation code, although I'm not sure if it's behind the animation issues.

That fixed the issue. All is well with both ET umbilical doors now.

That's a relief. I was starting to think if something had gotten really messed up on one of our computers.

Is there any news regarding the elevon animations?

I'm still having some problems with those. Right now it's the seal panels that's giving me some problems.

I checked in the work I have done so far on fixing up the elevon animations. I also included a FCS checkout scenario in the Testing scenarios\ subfolder. There's a bug with CRTMFD in MM801 in that it doesn't remember the state of the aerosurface drive (ITEM 10/11) so if you quit the scenario while the aerosurface drive is in progress and then relaunch it, it will default to the off state (ITEM 11).

I can't get the vectors for the RMS elbow camera pan/tilt right. Currently it is wrong which leads to this:

I think all the changes needed for the new meshes have been made, and we can merge the 2.1-newmesh branch back into the trunk now. Is there anything left to do before we close the mesh branch?

I don't see any problems with this. The only remaining thing is that the ODS C/L camera view isn't properly positioned anymore.

There seem to be some issues with the new mesh using the default Orbiter graphics client (everything looks fine using the DX9 client):
