While I've seen lots of Challenger Accident Videos that range from "very lurid" to quite exact, most of the O-Ring animations I saw don't described it that good as this one (I think);

Challenger O ring Final Cut - YouTube

Actually, the primary o-ring wasn't just sitting in the middle of the gap as it's shown, but had to move across the gap (from the top to the bottom, in the video) as the volume between the o-rings was pressurized during the leak checks, thus forcing the primary o-ring "in the wrong direction".

BTW: IMO, J-seal = brilliant design.

Great video yesterday on a topic that comes up on this forum every now and again:

This is so nice! Looks like Orbiter's high res texture...

Still remember they published Earth in 4K view a few years back. Now it's time for the Moon!

In front of the nozzle you can see the mirror that was used to look up the SRM at ignition.

Saturn I short documentary:

NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center
Published on Apr 27, 2018

This film provides an overview of the Saturn Program through the launch of the ten Saturn I launch vehicles. The Saturn I was the first in a class of large booster dedicated to the peaceful exploration of space. The vehicle was developed by clustering together eight H-1 engines for the first stage (S-I stage) and a later second stage (S-IV stage) of six RL-10 engines. The program include the scientific payloads Project Pegasus and Project Highwater.
