So it's always fun to send missions with new modules and build your own space station, but it's a pain to have 20 modules floating around the scenario editor when you only use the staion as a whole, not as individual parts. So my question is, is there a way to make several modules into one station without actually modeling 1 station?

Thanks in advance.

I had posted a question concerning this a while back, thread named "Merging Vessels". Maybe you could give it new life?

I believe that's the way Thornton does it, with his ISS v2, only he puts all the modules together by coding a .dll

B-Valvs, if you read through the list under "Tutorials for Addon Developers " in the Tutorials tab at the top of frame, you'll find a lot of info there.

Starting with a surface base is probably easiest, they don't move around much! However have a go at what you please, there's a lot of choice.
Whatever you choose, there are probaly at least three stages you'll go through, looing and learning, starting a project, asking for help! I know I do.

An advantage of surface bases are some good tutorials, and you can do it all with Notepad. That helps to get into Orbiters way of doing things, while keeping it fairly simple.

After a bit of practice ou can take on something like this:

If I don't get there first....
