Hi Everybody,
I'm finally coming back to Orbiter after years of not "playing". I first heard about Orbiter in an issue of PC Gamer back in 2004 or 2005 and got hooked on it for a quite a while but then didn't touch it for years.
The last time I had Orbiter installed it was the 2006 version a few years ago and for some reason I decided to check in on Orbiter a few weeks ago and picked up where I left off. I still remember a lot of the basics but I'm also having to relearn a lot of stuff I forgot.
Right now I'm running missions with the Shuttle Fleet trying to construct my own space station in LEO and practicing flying manual reentries in the shuttle. It took a lot of practice but I finally got that figured out with the help of the Aerobrake MFD.
Once my station is operational it will be time to plan a trip to the Moon in the DGIV or XR2.
I'm looking forward to it but I'm also taking it one step at a time.
Happy Orbiting everybody, it's good to be back!
