I decided a short round of DF adventure mode could be FUN, and it was. After managing a pack of five wolfes with only minor bruises, I decided to take on a small Goblin camp. Only one of them came out to meet me. The fight couldn't have started better, with me severing his left lower leg with the first strike. Then the guy wipped my ass. Lying down. vomiting from the pain. MINUS.ONE.LEG!!

I didn't get a single strike in anymore. For at least 10 turns we did battle, the cripple versus the evident absolute moron. He parried all my blows, and finally bashed my head in. However he managed that while lying down :facepalm:

Well, I almost got shot down in DCS by a P-51. While flying an F-15. :facepalm:

It was happening in a C182, but the problem was resolved. Turns out I'm just an idiot

The answer was in the chatbox - the pilot's mass was causing the plane to roll slightly. Suffer no more!

C182 is a single engine. I actually have prop torque toned down in the realism settings.

That's the kind of video I have running in the background since I've seen the visuals dozens of times already but the story getting retold in a good voice is better than reading Wikipedia articles.:lol:

Although I wouldn't say Gagarin was too valuable for them, they just didn't have anything great. Armstrong and Aldrin were too valuable.
He even was backup for Soyuz 1, you don't make someone backup if you have no intention of flying him.

Well, in my experience the only thing worse is a really long but really detailed checklist how to fix something. You go through it, hope for your problem to be gone...it's still there. But everyone in the thread is like "Oh my god, thanks" "Saved my life" "You're the best" "I love you" "Have my firstborn son". And you're sitting there, having wasted an hour on the "fix" and further googling always turns up the same advice. Over and over again with the same confirming replies.

A lazy, rainy Saturday for me. Booted up a random scenario with no flight plan or objective whatsoever and ended up flying the Shuttle PB from KSC to ISS in 10 hours, 7 minutes virtual time with the tank still about half full.

All things considered, I'd call that a pretty productive Saturday.

...and all I did was fly a Cessna XC to Seattle.
