Besides: Why are US events using roman numerals, instead of just saying "Super Bowl 2014" or "Wrestlemania 2007"? It's not like they make ten of these per year...

Same reason they use °F, ft/s, lbs etc. I guess.

Congratulations to the Seahawks on a well earned victory! Gotta love the forlorn look on Peyton Manning's face...

Anybody mind explaining how a kindergarten-league football team got to the Superbowl?

By kicking the other teams in their over-confidant asses. Defense wins championships.

Well, the Olympics are also referred to by Roman numerals. And they don't happen every year.

To be honest in all my years of existing I never once heard Olympics being referred to as the XXI Olympics, it's always 2012 Summer Olympics, Sydney Olympics, Sotchi etc.

I consider myself an advanced Orbiter uses, but I still prefer video tutorials over manuals
I hate video tutorials, because they usually only show what exactly you should do when, using only the tools the tutorial creator used, and not why you should do it in these conditions and for example not something different, and with different set of tools. If they don't offer any explanations or alternatives, they are of no use to me. I hate being programmed to do tasks which I could do differently.

(Posted here because it isn't related only to Orbiter, but to any video tutorials.)

As a former Washingtonian, I am very proud that the Seahawks brought home the Vince Lombardi Trophy, and although the Falcons blew it this season, the 'Hawks came through in a big way. The fact that they were generally considered underdogs makes this blowout victory that much better.

quickest score in Superbowl history, if only they hadn't scored on themselves

Wait... this is football we're talking about, is it? How can you possibly score on yourself in that sport? run in the wrong direction??

*throw ball back to Quarterback*
*Quarterback currently thinks about his post-season holiday*

Something like that.

Quarterback not paying attention, misses lobbed toss, opposing team gets safety.

You're talking as if it's impossible to make a video tutorial with a good commentary that explains things.

I think the Defense took the day off.

To quote the first law of the equivalent German sports event: "The Superbowl has its own rules".

But it is really great that it had been such a surprising defeat in the final. Sadly, I had to miss the superbowl this year, because I had been writing my math exam this morning.

I will await Superbowl XLVIII next year.

(Yes, you read that right).

The Broncos blew it bad, and the Seahawks were the better team that day. They earned the victory and deserve the accolades for it. The Broncos have only themselves to blame, and no sore Denver fan can take that away from them, or the fans and people of Seattle. Better luck in Superbowl XLIX

Wow did I find some hidden gems this evening!

Digging through a cardboard box I found some long lost cassettes; among them Pete Townsend's Empty Glass, All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes,White City and (my fav) Deep End Live!

Somewhere hidden I have Scoop and Another Scoop. I just wish I knew where that hidden place was. (The Iron Man too)

HOLY CRAPOLA!
I just priced getting these on CD from Amazon. Sheesh, it's not like they're made of gold. Well, they are gold, music-wise anyway. I'm a little skittish of playing these in a tape deck, but I may have to rig something up.

In 1985 he [Edmund Hillary] accompanied Neil Armstrong in a small twin-engined ski plane over the Arctic Ocean and landed at the North Pole.

Wait, what? Damn, Earth was lucky to not make a inclination change due to one-sided legendariness.

In other news, I've just received this in my mail box....
