I can quickly spawn for example 4 identical Hab modules and attach them to core of station without exiting orbiter which would be impossible with sc3...

Not being argumentative here, just informative, but this is not impossible with Spacecraft3. Cumbersome or more time consuming, absolutely, but not impossible. Just takes a little more 'prep work.'

Step 1: Copy /Config/Spacecraft/Spacecraft3.cfg to /Config/Vessels.
Step 2: However many copies of the vessel (your hab module, for example) you will need for your scenario, make that many additional copies of the .ini file in /Config/Spacecraft, renaming to what you will name the module in Scenario Editor.
Step 3,4,5: Launch Orbiter, Start your scenario, and open Scenario Editor.
Step 6: Click New
Step 7: Select spacecraft3, Give your vessel one of the names you chose for your ini file. Click Create>>
Step 8: Lather, rinse, repeat :)

You can then quickly spawn, for example, 4 hab modules (or however many you want/made copies of the ini for) and attach them to the core of the station without exiting Orbiter ;)

While all the eyes are on the Airbus A350 today, there's ANOTHER lovely aircraft that will make its first flight this month - one that will probably be as prominent as the A350 in the future aircraft market.

And it's Canadian......

And that prep work creates duplicate INI files of the same vessel. I know it's possible but for me it's bad practice (you can quickly get lost) and it's inconvinient as hell IMO.

I'm not diminishing sc3 at all here :D. I'm rather pointing out that Artlav's converter makes it easier and more convinient to use every day.

What will it be, when it has grown?

.

I completely agree. All the duplicate ini files can get unmanageable in a hurry. And what if you wanted, say multiples of the entire SSBB 4.0 package? Insanity, for sure.

I'm glad to see some of these Babylon 5 craft coming to life (or, back to life, in some cases), but it would be better if they were .dll-based. I have Jason Benson's permission to re-release all his Spacecraft1-based craft for O2010-P1, but I didn't want to flood the hangar with more SC3 vessels, so I won't yet, until I can begin to have dedicated time weekly to work on converting them to .dll-based. I'll probably release the Maintfury in an SC3 version, but just as with the Cortez, there's so much more I want to do with it. Only a .dll will do it justice. (That sounds really familiar. Did I already say that recently?)

I resumed work on a generic B5 vessel DLL for the fun of it, but it is not even in a state that I would call it a start. Just experimenting finding a good basic structure for the DLL to do what I expect from it in the end.

The DLL uses a configuration file for each vessel and a TBD number of JSON files for defining the behavior.

Currently using the Torotha Assault Frigate as initial capability. I would have preferred a Sharlin...

The professional way to do that: Press handle first, pull pin, throw... don't see FLASH, don't hear CRASH

Or spin around for twenty seconds shooting until the screen stopps being white...wait...

Bad company 2 had 40mm smoke but no flash iirc

That's correct. In BF3, you can upgrade the M320 to fire smoke grenades. Also, when you use the Mortar (M224) then you can upgrade it also with 60mm smoke 'grenades' (IDK a good term for 60mm smoke stuff)

But flash does not exist on BF3, and IDK of it ever was in a battlefield game or not.

I passed the 1000 post mark? Another point on my list "Things that show I don't have a life".

I just want to express hate against any email-address-skype-name-search. I use that for work and don't want to be contacted by insane people that know my email address. I don't know if the problem is the software or if the problem is the hardware in the head of this woman but the one is easier to fix than the other. At least more legal. Seriously, what's wrong with people.

I think the actual problem is that you can't delete your accounts anywhere anymore. That's another thing that should be fixed.

With every day I wander upon this planet I more and more wonder if I'm the problem or if the rest of the world is...
