Four months into parenthood. The notion I once held in my youth that it was the parents ordering the kids around now seems completely and utterly ridiculous.

Yess :lol: I showed a friend bacon vodka, it linked to bacon beer on google, then saw bacon lube... had a picture of a woman with a pig nose on the cover.

I decided to try flying Apollo 8 with the "random failures" box ticked for the first time, and I think that flight was one of the most tense launches I've flown! A few seconds after S-IC separation I suddenly got a master alarm tone in the CM cockpit. Within 2 seconds I hit the abort and carefully piloted the capsule safely into a suborbital reentry off the coast of Florida and splashed down nicely. Most tense mission I've flown in Orbiter so far.:shifty:

Didn't have time to check. I decided to hit the abort to be on the safe side. Though, I'd imagine it was something wrong with the S-II.
