After a couple weeks of playing, it became impossible to connect to a Zombies server in less than 30 minutes. Supposedly it's because you have to be matched up with people of very different rank. I don't know why it waits til the match has almost started, with 4 people, to decide it doesn't like the match though.

In World at War? AFAIK Black Ops disregards the multiplayer ranking system, and just goes for the best connection...still, I can't count how many times I've lost a lobby due to host migration.

You never heard of that? kind of Orbiters distant ancestor. Although I don't know wheather martin took any inspiration from it or not, it was certainly similar enough in concept to qualify. Might have been a real killer too, if Microsoft would have made good on the promise to release regular add-ons for it...
