Modern economics:
fe646f56250c102d94d7001438c0f03b

E=mc^2
c_0 = 2.998e8 m/s
c^2 = 8.988e16 m^2/s^2
c^2*80kg = 1.718e15 kcalories
1.718e15kcal/(2000kcal/day) = 2.352e9 years!

So apparently an average human has enough energy to survive for 2.4 billion years. I am never eating again.

They say you can never have too much storage, but I just can't see what anyone would ever need 5 TB for:blink: All the stuff I need to back up doesn't even come to 8 GB...

In Space, no-one can hear you scream,

Unless your transmitting on the right radio frequencies...

Clearly you have never worked with video. HD and beyond footage are HUGE files. I could fill up 5 TB rather quickly. In fact, I have, times over.

The .wmv compression of Windows Movie Maker (including the downloadable HD plugin) gave me decent quality with a relatively low filesize. My XR2 videos were only a few hundred MB (or maybe even less; in the tens if in 480p), as far as I could remember.

A professional level capture will be about 1 GB per 1 minute of HD footage. More if you go beyond HD, to like 2k or 4k
