There was this Nickelodeon sitcom (that was aimed at kids/teens) from several years ago called Drake and Josh.

One episode involved a model rocket, and a couple characters commented how the titular characters (in their mid-late teens) were too old to be playing with them. It was probably a solid-fuel rocket, because it accidentally hit a treehouse in someone else's backyard and set it on fire (IIRC).

Does anyone remember that?

Oh yeah, and Drake had a running gag of mispronoucing nosecone as "nosecon" with Josh correcting him.

Oh god, I used to watch that every day after school.

Well, Megan proved herself to be a Grade-A Prat throughout that show. She did such a good job of being a prat, that she the actress got her own show (ICarly) all about being a prat.

The IATA code YYZ represents Toronto Pearson's International Association Airport code. YYZ is the IATA airport identification code for Toronto Pearson International Airport, located in Mississauga, west of Rush's hometown of Toronto. It is common practice for air navigation aids to broadcast their identifier code in Morse code using VHF omnidirectional range (VOR). A plane using VOR equipment would then always know it is tracking the right station.

The instrumental 'YYZ' off the Moving Picture's Album is introduced playing in a time signature of 5/4, repeatedly rendering the letters "Y-Y-Z" in Morse Code using various musical arrangements. Lyricist, composer, and drummer Neil Peart listened to and liked the rhythm after hearing it upon returning to Toronto from abroad.

Their are versions of YYZ on Youtube, but IMHO the best version is on Rush's live album "Exit Stage Left." Neil Peart is generally considered one of the best drummers/percussionists of all time.

Someone in the aerospace engineering program here just told me that the external tank on the space shuttle had it's own engines. I tried to tell him that that was wrong, but I didn't convince him.

It must be that I haven't had a lot of sleep lately, but I felt paranoid enough to look up the space shuttle, you know....., just to make sure I haven't been transported to an alternate reality where the ET did have them.:shifty:
