The Planets (BBC series) looks pretty good from what I've seen so far. The episode about the giant planets, and Voyager spacecraft, is very well done. However, the series is somewhat old.

This is my Interplanetary Spaceship:

It's powered by Nuclear Cookies and propelled by Magic Fairy Dust.

I call it Tom.

Picked up Morrowind the other day, haven't played it in years. Have to say, I've had more hilarious adventures in it this morning than I've had playing Skyrim for the same amount of time.

Who ever come up with an idea to embed the battery into a mobile device with no provision for replacement?
It took me the whole afternoon to transplant the battery after the dead one swelled up enough to crack the casing.

And it's not even a fancy ultra-thin phone or something, but a pocket-sized 4G router with enough space inside to fit a proper battery slot!

Design is going to kill the world...

Another example: Whoever decided that putting retry below continue on the KH:BBS game over menu was an idiot.
"You've just died,go back to the begining of this really long boss sequence, or would you like to try just that boss again?"

Apple sure helped with the original iPod. I even have one- I bought it because I was sick of seeing every new gadget trying to be thinner than paper. The first gen iPod is thick.

I also try to buy electronics with removable batteries. My Droid X has one. My 17 and 10 inch laptops have one. My flashlights have removable batteries too.

iPad 2 attacks.

P.S. My P.S. Vita will also have no removable battery but everything else about it will be awesome enough to outweigh that.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

Sure, it looks like it has some funny parts, but it seems like at the end they will get hit by an asteroid anyway. Which would make me unable to laugh at any of it. And don't you think they would constantly continue efforts to destroy the asteroid? Three weeks away is still quite a distance. You would think they would try firing every ICBM on Earth at it? Or at least a lot of them. Or something. I know it's just a comedy film, but...

Well, that's Square-Enix for you, or maybe just RPGs in general. They've been doing annoying things with the menus for ages now. I stopped at FFVI because the games were just getting so bloody stupid all the time.

One of the better of the series IMO. Still have my original copy. Great game.

Have my second copy of Oblivion on PS3 (originally had it for 360).
