Odd. I wouldn't have gotten a motorola android phone in the first place. Id stick to HTC if I were you. But thats weird. Have you taken it to verizon yet?

My chemistry teacher knows how much I like spaceflight, and gave me three patches as a gift (I did a bit of research to identify the mission patches):
-NASA insignia
-STS-51L (R.I.P.)
-STS-57

Cool! I uh... got offered AP biology for my sophomore year. I like your gift better.

I get to look forward to College Algebra and Career Development next term.

I feel sorry for you if you don't like it. Maybe I should get AP Physics in Senior year, but I dunno.

I'm sure you do. ;)

Career Development should just be a formality . . . but math has always been my weak point.

We'll see how it goes; I don't have to be in class after tonight until the 9th of next month.

End of First Quarter of College:
6 classes attempted
6 classes passed with flying colors!

ive seen firefox for android, but since my droid is refusing to update from 2.2 im trying to figure that out

What part of the install isn't working?

You haven't rooted yours have you? And if so, did you uninstall any of the Verizon apps that came preinstalled? Doing this breaks the ability to upgrade, as the Verizon update package checks the versions of those apps and will break if those apps aren't there. Ran into this with my DROID X2. Even doing a factory reset doesn't fix it because removing them by command line also removed them from the reset image.

on a related note, when i got my phone, i considered getting the droid Star Wars edition with a R2-D2 case...

Yep. Lucasfilm owns it. Lock stock and barrell.

"Look sir, DROIDS!"

Cops bust a black market phone ring
one asks a criminal 'are these stolen droids?'
criminal replies 'these are not the droids youre looking for'

oh god that was really corny
