And if you can't find it, Rule 35 applies here...

And it shall be made!

Anyways, on to my dumb quote of the day. (Don't count on this every day)

"I didn't realize I was in a Buddhist temple." - Al Gore, former U.S. Vice President when asked about his illegal fund-raising activities that took place in a Buddhist temple.

But wait, there's more!
A custom facepalm!

The point of it is that it's a stupid quote made by a more famous person. It is not a fact either, it's a quote. If I found a satisfactory "Bushism" or quote from Chuck Norris to entertain the good people of the 1% gold on the internet, I would've posted it.

To satisfy your needs here is a nice little photo of Bush:

Rule 34? I know the 70 Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries, but I don't know this Rule 34 of which you speak...

I know of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Pirates, but I don't know of these Maxims of which you speak...

Rule 34: "If you’re leaving scorch-marks, you need a bigger gun."

If Al Gore hadn't invented the Internet, Chuck Norris jokes would not be alive today.

Bazinga.

Surely underground you can build any shape you like, like a cave.
To a point. :)

This structure is essentially free standing if build square - up or down, the weight is on the structure.
So, making it on an angle puts some of that weight on the ground.
You'll also have to provide lighting, why not use the Sun?

In any case, it looks like this whole thing would just slide down into a big pile at the bottom on the first good earthquake.

Actually, it looks somewhat Star Wars-ish.
Might be a cool place to visit.

Would anyone dare to walk on the cover glass above this 200 meter drop?

This is called a bomb shelter... Unless one provides suspension, redundant exits/air ducts/electricity supply, this IS a deathtrap. People have been developing maximum protection underground facilities for half a century...

Howard Taylor got a cease and desist letter a few months back, and engaged in a retcon to change it to the Maxims.
The Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries

I know that.

I'm just one of the people who thought the retcon was a change for the worse (not that he had much choice). There was a delightful irony in that the first two rules mentioned in the strip had numbers higher than seven*, and that irony is gone now that there are "seventy maxims".

*Technically, rule 1 was mentioned first, but that was before we knew it was part of SHoHEPirates/SMoMEM. The two rules mentioned in the strip where SHoHEPirates/SMoMEM was introduced were 8 and 16.
