LKW = Lastkraftwagen = Freight transport powered vehicle.
PKW = Personenkraftwagen = Personal transport powered vehicle.
Those are generic technical terms, which are both a bit more specific than Automobil.

I belong to another web forum where after about a thousand posts the mods close the thread and open a "continued" thread, and go on from there. I don't see why, this seems to work quite well.

At the time I was involved in development of MGE, threads at Bethsoft forums used to be closed at 200 posts threshold, and deleted from the board after a year of inactivity (or moved to archive). If I remember correctly, their reasoning was something about the speed, but somehow I don't see it, unless they have had very slow database.
Anyway, I haven't visited those forums since 2010, so maybe something changed.
(BTW, there are only 343 pages in this thread.

Nope, I'm thinking about reducing my "post per page"-number because at home I have ridiculously slow internet (Blame Oba...Merkel!) and Penguin's launch threads with dozens of fancy, HQ photos load up really slow sometimes.:lol:
