They do if they can, which is by no means a given in Bosnia. But yes, bosnian teachers are regularly upset if the parents didn't teach the kids reading and writing before first grade. In their opinion, their job consists only in teaching the kids to write correctly, not to write in the first place.
 
I feel...stupid.

So, few days ago, went to the eye doctor with my ID, no biggie. I lose track of it after we get home. Two days later, I needed it again. Could not find the stupid thing, thought I'd lost it. That resulted in me tearing up my room looking for it. COme to find out about 10 minutes ago, it was sitting on top of my alarm clock...3ft from my head.
 
Just remember: The reason something's almost always in the last place you look for it . . . is that you usually stop looking for it after you've found it.
 
In France, multiplication begins in the first grade (6 yo), and strenghtened in the second grade (7 yo), with the division. No negative numbers in primary school, but decimals and simple fractions in 4th and 5th grades (9-10 yo). No division by a decimal, but they can divide a decimal by an integer. No algebra, it begins in the 6th grade (11 yo, high school). Advanced stuff like moduli are learned in 11th and 12th grades (16-17 yo, last classes before University), for those who have chosen a scientific specialization ('was not my case, so I learned basic statistics and probabilities).

But there are changes pretty often and programs are rewritten (every new governement, usually).

My younger brother has Kinect, but I can't be bothered with it. If I'm going to be lazy and play video games, I'm not going to be getting exercise if I can't help it. :P

Besides, that's what my treadmill is for.

I saw it and was like 'AWESOME!' then I saw it needed kinect...really microsoft? I mean, SERIOUSLY...i'm gonna land a few billion tons of technology by flapping my arms about like a freaking idiot.

FALSE. Spirit never existed, it was all filmed on a soundstage on Venus.
