Possible Fossett items found in California

This sad event shows how easy conspiracy theories are made by non-involved people and how wrong those theses really are in most cases. Nothing more than just ridiculous speculations.

I was sure from the beginning that this must have been a bad accident. Fossett always was a fun-loving person. He was an adventurer and not a crazy suicide victim or somebody to go underground. I'm sure he was a very nice and lucky person. He died because he did what he always loved to do. Not too bad to die that way if you know what I mean.

R.I.P. Steve Fossett

Great contribution.

Well, it's been over a year and they've finally found the wreckage. Give the location, I doubt they'll ever fine remains of the man himself. If he actually survived the crash itself, chances are he didn't get very far on foot.

dident you read the the yahoo news thay did find his remains, he dident survive the crash, the reason his plane flew straight into a mountain. you should of read it before posting

Actually, I had read an earlier Yahoo report and was under the assumption this was the same one. Apparently it is not.

Not to be sounding horrible but there wont be much left of him sitting in a forest some animal is bound to come along and have a nibble and the flys.

How is that at all relevant to anything?

I'm glad they've found this now. Closure is an important thing in cases like this. Now people can remember him for his amazing life, and not for his disappearance.

Obviously the body will be in some state of decay, but it's rude to speak of it in detail unless you are discussing the technical details of the investigation. This may be the internet, but its also Tex's forum and some modicum of custom and courtesy is nice to maintain.

I'm just saying becuase they found a body and all.

searchers found the wreckage of his plane in the rugged Sierra Nevada, along with enough remains for DNA testing.

They found remains. Enough to prove whether or not they're those of Fossett. That's all that matters. How much of the body is still whole is irrelevant. And quite distasteful to speak of in such manner as yours.
