I was wondering if anybody else has made any addons for personal use only, and if so, what they are. I've made a base with a 5 kilometer long runway, a paralell taxiway, 5 landing pads, a VAB, an Energia launchpad, a model of my house (the measurements and location are taken from Google Earth, and the textures are as close as I could get them with orbiter's default building textures), and some other graphical nicities, and I emblazoned the logo of my make-believe aerospace company on the VAB and my XR fleet.

What have other people done?

could you please post the files you made to make that base, it is cooler than mine.

It is supposed to be a personal add-on. ;) I use a DG with a warp drive, anti-gravity thrusters, and a modified HUD.

Well I'm not sure what you'd want with it, since the location isn't anything special (it's at an unfortunately high latitude), and my house and VAB textures wouldn't mean anything for you. If you want to improve your own though, here are some useful tools:

Surface base wizard: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2796"]Surface base wizard 1.3b[/ame]
- Great for laying things out.

GIMP: http://www.gimp.org/
- Like photoshop, but free. Good for modifying textures, and it can read and write .dds textures directly, without any special converter software.

OpenOffice.org: http://www.openoffice.org/
- Like microsoft office, but free, and far superior. The drawing program is good for making things like logos, if GIMP doesn't do what you want.
