Orbiter Screenshot Thread

Saturn's satellite Rhea, with saturn in the center.

Not pretty, I know, but I'm really proud of having achieved orbit on this piece of rock :)

I thought I might start off some alternate history concepts for the USA and USSR space programs including: Vostok, Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Soyuz, Luna, Almaz, Salyut and Skylab!

Saturn IV Station is a concept thought up by sputnik, you can download it [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5367"]here[/ame].

What do you think of this orbit? most circular one i ever made.
You can adjust your orbit at periapsis or apoapsis using the translation (LIN) thrusters and decrease it to zero eccentricity. Use CTRL+num 6/9 while facing prograde. That allows for fine-tuning.

I like your screenshots, ProAuroraX. That Lunar outpost one is almost spooky!

Thanks. I've been Building Stations With XR5 and Xr2 in Low Moon Orbit. or at least trying too.... my last mission i was using meshland. i accidentally came a little too fast and knocked the station out of orbit and into the ground..... not good

Trying a Inverted Reentry with the XR-2. Surprisingly i did'nt Explode. landed at the cape Successfully.

Thanks. And Heres another!
I would tone the lens flare down a bit. That effect tends to get overused a lot in general, and can really distract from the rest of the image. You don't want something like the lens flare becoming your focal point.

HCV in orbit, antenna & solar panels fully deployed.
