Lift-off USC's Antares-3, which brought the 6 astronauts of Expedition 56 to the ISS-

Mach 1!

In orbit now-

Closing in on the ISS-

3 hours after docking, the door was opened to the ISS, where they will stay for 6 months and conduct two EVA's-

With all my old data gone with the HDD, it's time to start rebuilding the Orbiter installation. May as well start with the old favourite: moon surfing!
This time with the Descartes, which I regret not using much before.

Not as low as it can go, but still lower than high command would ever allow such an expensive machine:

It's exhilirating to sit in a glass box sailing silently over the lunar terraine at 1700m/s (as long as we don't end up like Kaguya ):

Such an event deserves fitting music, and I think I've found it, for anyone who remembers Final Fantasy II:

I don't know if anyone remembers my Lunar UCGO base, but, here's some pictures of it:

Thanks. I'm thinking a ship that size probably wasn't built in one (day/week/month/year), so . . . from front to back there's a definite progression in size and configuration of body paneling.

Again, a series of cutting, pasting, orientating and sizing of stock Atlantis textures. I think it works. I think I'm about ready to release this one (if I can get on orbithangar, that is).

A little to close. I wasn't planning on it being their. It only affected my course a little.
