And now, for a new installment of 'Fireballs619's Mediocre Flights', we bring you coverage of a Delta IV launch a satellite into LEO.

This photo was taken shortly after main stage seperation. Unfortunately, the satellite and all of it's valuable equipment was lost after the controller accidentally hit 'F' after main stage seperation, releasing the fairing prematurely :/. He got some entertainment, however, watching the satellite burn up during reentry.

In all seriousness folks, this was my first launch with the Delta IV, and a bunch of things went wrong. My joystick stopped working about 15 seconds into the flight, forcing me to resort to the keyboard, which I'm not used to. I accidently jettisoned the main stage early, and then hit 'F' while putting a glass of water down. It was still a fun flight (albiet short), and hopefully I can complete one tomorrow. Its a great addon.

I keep hitting F prematurely because it's the default key to bring up the framerate at the top right. It's annoying when keys conflict.

The Delta IV is great. The lack of autopilot forced me to learn manual launches.

Awesome JBG! Every time I fly to Station 5 I hear "Blue Danube" in my head. I wonder if it's the same for anyone else...?
