Orbiter Screenshot Thread

That was after a Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune sling with a pass over the top of Neptune to Triton. I advanced the date many years after passing Neptune, so it's hard to see from that angle, but yea I'm a long ways out of the solar system. My launch date was in 1977 same as Voyager. I passed Neptune in 1989 and the date in that screen shot above is Jan 2011. :)

One small step...in a different direction

Tex, Tom Hanks, and Neil Armstorng Jr. (makes sense if you look at the date)on the moon.

A little hot rover on moon action

I like this shot.I think I'll make it my profile pic.

Almost home

I'd post pics of the reentry but this thing likes to fly nose first in atmo and dig itself into the ground

yes, because I've built a spaceflight-museum at the old Apollo landing-site with UCGO and a PrludeII-base.

@Izack: I built a brige out of the AR-18 cargo-ay with thesee module a andb from the Dragonfly scenarios, so I were able to transport the shuttle outside the cargo-bay.

(in fact there was one module more, so it didn't collide with the baydoors)
