Orbiter Screenshot Thread

This is he LC-39 form slat's add-on and the Shuttle Fleet 4.7 with my repaints!

I used the Space Shuttle Ultra textures, I modified them, and created several new things! Soon I'll post my repaints, today or tomorrow!!

Yes. They are three separate OV's; not the same one pasted three times. :)

Open house at The Cape, anyone?

I repainted the entire fleet, with old and current repaints!!
Please correct the orientation of the orbiter name on the right wing. It should be aligned with the flag, IE left-justified and not centered like on the original paint-job.

Why did Columbia have those black bits on the front edge of its wings?
An analysis performed prior to STS-1 found that the thermal environment could be too high for the standard FRSI blankets and LRSI tiles, so a special black thermal coating was applied to them while the orbiter was in the OPF.

Subsequent flight data proved the analysis wrong so none of the other orbiters were equipped with the black chines.

Config edit. :)
Which made it to collide with Earth, making an expected render order issues, or put in into very low orbit, making an unexpected render order issue?

Awesome, Dave. Excited about the next release!

Is the Magellan part of the next update?

The next Shuttle Fleet includes some enhancements that will allow for a limited use of the STS Payloads by Gazza (satellite deployment controls mainly), however the directions on how to use those enhancements will be contained in a separate distribution package following the main Shuttle Fleet release. In that separate distribution package will be Magellan, Galileo and Ulysses mission simulations that will allow for the deployment of those interplanetary probes from the shuttle. I'm working on those missions now in addition to finishing up the necessary documentation for Fleet V4.8.

Here is STS-34 with Galileo about to be released...

Here are some shots of my Gemini XIV (I've skipped number 13 for obvious reasons) mission. It will visit.. something. I'm not gonna say what (yet).
