Installation Orbiter 2024 Crash on Launch

Hello just learned about this amazing project and downloaded it immediately but when i try to open the Orbiter.exe it loads up for a split second and then closes. the Orbiter_ng.exe has no problem but i dont know where i could find a graphic engine. Please help me fix it because I am very excited to try it!

I managed to solve it so everything is good but i cant find how to remove the post

Hey don't remove your post, instead tell us what the problem was and how you fixed it.

Sometimes it's an obvious fix in hindsight, sometimes it's a setting in the graphics, etc.
Believe me, I've felt like a total idiot on more than one occasion when something would crash my Orbiter, when all I needed to do was click one button.

Searching the forums for a problem (and the solution) that someone else had is a great resource. Especially since we have almost 19 years of searchable forum archives now...
