Hi,
I am trying to get info about animations (defined in the *.ini files of "spacecraft3" vessels) and how to realize them. I see that the animation sequences in the ini files refer to groups. I assume these are groups of vertices or points defined in the mesh.
How does one define these groups in Anim8or?

Cheers
Uwe

not sure if you do/can. I would load the mesh in meshwizard and then you can get the group info

To have animation in orbiter mesh need to be divided in group.
Depend what you want to animate, gear, control surface, etc.
That's done before export to orbiter mesh.

This is possible to animate,3D model in groups redy for export.

If you have model like this,a solid mesh, one group, you can't animate this.

I think you can't define group in animator for spacecraft3 animation.
You can get rotation point but not a group.
You have in Orbiter a meshdebug so you can see there what part of model is what group.
Or use meshwizard as gattispilot suggest.
