I think that is what I did wrong. I might not have a capsule.ini.

The mesh shows up but it crashes almost immediately. I exported the mesh many times again and again to see if it would work, but so far I got no progress.

You need to put in config\spacecraft folder a JD_capsule.ini but not this what you put into zip...
Classic spacecraft3 ini file for your ship.

Anyway, I took into mind that I need to do some major editing on the rocket. Not to mention that the capsule is not working. When I do this I will let you guys know. Other than that, the JD addons on O-H are outdated.

It still is crashing when I release the third stage from the capsule. Hopefully with this information you guys can help me fix the problem. I edited dozens of times and it is still messing up.

You do not have Vinka's Spacecraft.dll addon.
Your INI file and scenario will not work without it.

Do I have to add landing points to the stages so when they collide with Earth, they do not disappear?

No need adding landing point to stage,I I think that is not possible to add for multistage.
It's make to disappear...only last stage remain.
