More realistic bright hi-res clouds [maxCloudResolution = 9] - This addon provides a cloud layer that looks much more like the real thing

Took the NASA Blue Marble Next Generation 43200x21600 Cloud mask and corrected a few things like exposure, sun glint and data seams in Photoshop.

Just drop this file in your Textures\Earth\Archive-folder and remember to set the maxCloudResolution parameter to 9 in the Config\Earth.cfg

There are one or two minor texture glitches I might wanna correct in an update but it's pretty nice already.
Unfortunately I was unable to create a level 10 texture with the available tools, might come in the...

Hurricane Kirk and glitch fixes

Well, I was impatient, found a beautiful hi-res image of the huge Hurricane Kirk shot perfectly by NOAA-20 VIIRS on Oct. 4, 2024 and inserted it successfully into the global map. It's an appropriate one as well, so to say, as it never made landfall anywhere with significant damages.
Fixed a couple of minor glitches in the cloud map as well. Still level 9 though, but now you have a hurricane to fly around - of course not really working the way it does in mother nature. And it's quite a large...

I liked your clouds a lot. There seem to be more of them, than in the default case, so I like how they close the ocean. I tried it with Orbiter 2024:

Please, try to make level 10 with bigger quality.
