Hello Everyone

First of all, thanks to everyone, to bring Rocket Science at a distance of a click! I discovered Orbiter 5 days ago and i've become completely addicted.
I'm a newbie, and for now I'm not able to develop. Hope this changes in a few weeks. This is mainly a Space Program exploration software, but i think the main goal is to lead/deal with forces of physics. So, my idea is more related to that, than Space Exploration. Please don't accuse me of being pro military, as I ashore you i'm not. It's just a fact that exists; so we cannot avoid it, let's face it. The Scenario is the following, and I'm not even sure if it's feasonable:
1 - Build a SpaceCraft (or use one, already developed), to launch satellite(s)
2 - Those Satellites would be the Missile Defensive Shield. They would have something (eg A Radar MFD) that would detect a ICBM launch. Then collect data and with the help of another MFD do the Math so we could intercept the ICBM
2 - Build some ICBM Missiles

so the scenario would be like this.
1 - Launch a series of satellites to cover the whole world
2 - The user press a key and ICBM is launched
3 - Based on captured data the ICBM would be destroyed.

Hope I did not theorized something foolish.

Anyway I would like your help in other thing:
I will try to reconstruct the Mission "Mars Phoenix Lander". I already have the scenario. Do you know where I can get the REAL data involved in the mission? So I can perform the REAL Trajectory Correction Maneuvers that happened at the same exact moment.

And again thank you all

And welcome to Orbiter/Orbiter forums/Orbiter hanger

I may have misunderstood, but I think he's asking for a satellite that can track and/or destroy ICBMs.

That's what one famous actor-turned-politician proposed. Currently, the design includes ground- and sea-based interceptor missiles, though.

I see what you mean. Sort of like the SLAMS shield network in HAWX and Tom Clancy's Endwar. If you don't know what those are sorry, thats what it reminded me of though. It would be cool to have that implemented into orbiter.
